Western Illinois University -
Camp College applications are now available! Camp College will take place Monday,
July 8-Thursday, July 11 at Western Illinois University in Macomb. Applications
and nominations are due by Friday, March 15, 2013 .
Through IACAC's support, Camp College is a free opportunity for rising seniors
to learn about aspects of the college search and application process from college
and high school counselors while experiencing life on a college campus. Students
will be provided food and lodging free of cost.
This program is designed for students from non-traditional backgrounds who would
benefit from exposure to this information. The selection committee will give
additional consideration to students from rural areas, first-generation college
students, and students from low-income households. Students should have a minimum
cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

(UCCSP) was founded in 2003 as a three-year

, the Boeing Scholars Academy at Illinois Institute of Technology is a free,

Scholarship Description: The Presidential Scholarship Program attracts graduating
high school seniors who demonstrate strong
academic promise from the Chicago metropolitan and suburban areas. Through the
support of this scholarship students are able to
concentrate on their academic studies and be engaged in college life. Recipients
of this scholarship major in academic fields such as
business, music, social work, earth science, education, biology, and psychology
just to name a few. Presidential Scholars participate
in the University Honors Program, take advantage of study abroad opportunities,
and are involved in a variety of student organizations
