Summer college programs for Juniors:
Western Illinois University - Camp College applications are now available! Camp College will take place Monday, July 8-Thursday, July 11 at Western Illinois University in Macomb. Applications and nominations are due by Friday, March 15, 2013 .

Through IACAC's support, Camp College is a free opportunity for rising seniors to learn about aspects of the college search and application process from college and high school counselors while experiencing life on a college campus. Students will be provided food and lodging free of cost.
This program is designed for students from non-traditional backgrounds who would benefit from exposure to this information. The selection committee will give additional consideration to students from rural areas, first-generation college students, and students from low-income households. Students should have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Scholarship Description: The University of Chicago Collegiate Scholar’s Program (UCCSP) was founded in 2003 as a three-year  enrichment program that aims to prepare talented Chicago Public High School students in grades 10-12 for admission and success  at the nation’s top colleges and universities. Scholarship Description: The Jack and Jill of America Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The  Foundation’s purpose is to provide financial support to organizations that promote leadership development, children, youth and young  adults. Scholarship Description: Generously supported by a grant from the Boeing Company , the Boeing Scholars Academy at Illinois Institute  of Technology is a free, year-round educational enrichment program that offers up to 100 high-achieving, Chicago-area high school  sophomores the opportunity to immerse themselves in academic and hands-on experiences in STEM fields (science, technology,  engineering, and mathematics). Scholarship Name: Northeastern Illinois University Presidential Scholarship

Scholarship Description: The Presidential Scholarship Program attracts graduating high school seniors who demonstrate strong  academic promise from the Chicago metropolitan and suburban areas. Through the support of this scholarship students are able to  concentrate on their academic studies and be engaged in college life. Recipients of this scholarship major in academic fields such as  business, music, social work, earth science, education, biology, and psychology just to name a few. Presidential Scholars participate 
in the University Honors Program, take advantage of study abroad opportunities, and are involved in a variety of student organizations  on campus, which enhance their leadership skills and commitment to service learning. 

Scholarship Award Amount: Covers full in-state tuition and fees and provides a book allowance for four academic years provided the  recipient maintains a 3.50 GPA each year. The approximate value of the scholarship is over $40,000 for four years.
